Built by people who ship side hustles.
Hustle Report is a small, focused team. We build the product, write the guides and answer your emails personally. Here is who keeps the lights on.

Founder, Hustle Report
Erdem Volkan
Erdem Volkan is the founder and editor in chief of Hustle Report. He started his career as a software engineer and product builder, shipping web and mobile products for clients across the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. After a decade of running side projects in parallel with full time roles, Erdem built Hustle Report to give other remote professionals the tools, data and weekly accountability he wished he had earlier. He personally reviews every pillar guide on the site and works with a small editorial team to keep the data fresh and country aware.

How we research and write
Primary sources first
Tax thresholds, platform fees and salary numbers are pulled from the original publishers, not aggregated copies. We cite the source whenever we use third party data.
Country aware, not country biased
Most guides are written for a global audience. When a topic is country specific, like UK Self Assessment or US 1099, the article and URL make it clear.
Practitioner reviewed
Erdem reviews every pillar guide and works with practising freelancers and accountants for technical pieces. AI is used as a research assistant, never as the final author.
Updated, not abandoned
Every article shows its last updated date. We rewrite or retire content when platforms, rules or rates change in a meaningful way.
