During onboarding you set how many hours per week you can dedicate to side work, and all opportunity matches are filtered to that time budget. We also flag whether a brief is evenings-friendly, weekend-only, or fully remote so you can assess fit at a glance.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Bank connection is entirely optional. You can upload a PDF or CSV bank statement if you want the subscription audit and money-leak scanner, but the salary benchmarking, side hustle matching and skill gap tools all work without any bank data. Many members use the platform for months before they try the bank analysis feature.

You upload a PDF or CSV export from your bank. We parse the transactions in memory, group recurring payments by merchant, and flag any that look unused, duplicated or overpriced. Each flagged subscription shows the monthly cost, how many months it has appeared, and a quick link to the cancellation page of that provider. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest; they are never shared with third parties and you can delete them at any time from settings.

The model accounts for the number of billable days in a year (typically 220 of 260 working days after holiday, sick and business development time), self-employment taxes and National Insurance for UK users, and the premium contractors command over employees for the same role. The result tells you your minimum rate floor and your recommended asking rate.

We query by job title and city to return the median (P50) salary. The P75 and P90 percentile estimates are derived from ONS Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) distribution data for UK roles. All data is clearly labelled with its source and a disclaimer that estimates are based on market data, not guaranteed outcomes.

Yes. Bank statement files are stored with AES-256 encryption at rest in Supabase Storage (a SOC 2 Type II compliant provider) and transmitted over TLS 1.3. We parse the file once to extract transaction data, then the raw file remains in your private storage bucket. We never share your financial data with third parties, never sell it, and never use it for advertising. You can delete all bank data from your settings at any time and we will purge it within 24 hours.

Your CV is stored securely in your account so we can re-analyse it as the job market changes and improve your match quality over time. You can delete it at any time from your account settings. When you delete your CV, we also remove the extracted skill profile and all associated match history. If you close your account, all data including CV, bank statements and income entries is deleted within 30 days.

Yes. Hustle Report is operated by a UK-registered company and is fully compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, and export it in a portable format. What AI provider do you use to analyse CVs?

We use the Anthropic Claude API for CV parsing and report narrative generation. Claude processes your CV text to extract structured data — skills, titles, seniority — and to generate the personalised commentary in your Monday report. Anthropic's usage policy prohibits training on API inputs by default; your CV text is not used to train their models. See our privacy policy for the full list of third-party processors.

Can I delete my account and all my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account. This immediately cancels your subscription (no further charges) and schedules permanent deletion of all personal data including your CV, bank statements, income entries, and profile information within 30 days. Anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate statistics (such as aggregate income ranges used for benchmarks) may be retained.

There is no annual discount at this time, but the referral programme lets you earn free months by inviting friends.

The platform generates your first personalised report within minutes of completing onboarding, so you can assess the value of the recommendations before your next billing date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. This opens your Stripe billing portal where you can cancel immediately. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then. We do not offer refunds on used billing periods, but if you have a billing query please email hello@hustlereport.co.

How does the referral programme work?

Every Hustle Report member gets a unique referral link in the Referrals section of the dashboard. When a friend signs up using your link and starts a paid subscription, you receive one free month applied as a Stripe credit automatically — no manual request needed. They receive 30% off their first three months. Credits are stackable up to 12 free months. You can track referral status and credits in real time from your dashboard.

Do you support currencies other than GBP?

Stripe handles the checkout and currently processes in GBP. If your card is issued in another currency (USD, EUR, AUD, CAD) your bank applies its standard exchange rate. Multi-currency pricing with local checkout is on our product roadmap. The platform content and salary data already cover the US, Australia, Canada and Ireland; billing localisation will follow.
